MeetLuna

The buddy in your MacBook's notch that watches your Claude Code sessions, so you don't have to. It taps you when an agent needs a yes, and stays quiet the rest of the time.

That's a picture. The real one is the notch at the top of this page: hover it, click it, poke the buddy.

A buddy, not another dashboard

Luna turns amber when an agent waits on you, spins while it works, and celebrates when it's done. You read your sessions the way you read a face: at a glance, from the corner of your eye, without opening anything.

AI writes the code. You do the waiting.

Agents are fast until they need you. Then they wait, silently, in a terminal you forgot about.

It asked nine minutes ago

Claude Code needed one yes to keep going. You were in another window. The notch lights up the second it asks.

Four agents. Which one is stuck?

Sessions pile up across terminals and tabs. Luna shows every one in a glance: who works, who waits, who's done.

“Just a quick check” ate your focus

Every trip to see if it finished is a context switch. You never go looking: Luna tells you one thing, when it matters.

For engineers

Run more agents. Watch none of them.

Approve, answer, send a prompt or a file to any session, and see context, cost and plan limits live.

For teams using AI

Idle agents are wasted spend.

Nothing to roll out or audit: no account, no telemetry, keys in the Keychain, and it never blocks Claude Code.

For ADHD brains

One thing at a time.

A single status instead of a wall of badges, a focus timer where your eyes already are, and a buddy for company.

Sessions at a glance

It says one thing at a time.

Closed, the island shows your buddy and a single status: whatever matters most right now. Open it and every Claude Code session is there, with what each is doing and what's next in your day.

Tap a status. The notch up top shows it.

Approve and answer

Say yes from the notch.

When Claude Code needs permission, the island opens with who is asking, the tool and the exact command. Allow, deny or answer without switching windows.

That's a real approval up there. Go on, click Allow.

  • Only on a click. Luna never approves anything for you. Allow means you clicked Allow.
  • Never in the way. If Luna is closed or slow, Claude Code carries on and asks in the terminal as usual.
  • One at a time. Requests from several sessions queue up, and questions with options show up too.
  • Jump back in. One click opens the right Terminal tab, iTerm session or editor window.

⏸ Waiting for permission…

Your buddy turns amber and hops when something needs you. The mark is a symbol too, never colour alone.

Pick your buddy

Twelve buddies. One is yours.

Each one is drawn in code, has its own way of waving, working and celebrating, and brings its own colours. Pick one and this page takes its theme, as the app does.

Luna, the moon
The moon, with real maria and craters on a turning sphere.

On your desktop

Sometimes it comes out to play.

Now and then your buddy climbs out of the notch to do something small on your desktop, or brings you a message: a long task finished, a review is waiting, time for a break.

Watch the notch: it is about to climb out and land on the window below.

  • Small and short. A peek, a nap, a bounce on the Dock, a visit to the other display. Five to twelve seconds, now and then.
  • Knows when to stay in. Never during focus, over an approval or a question, or while your screen is shared.
  • Sees shapes, not content. A scene reads where your windows are. Never their titles, never what's in them.
  • Yours to shoo. Click it, drag it around, or send it home. Or turn scenes off altogether.

Drop a file

The notch is a drop target.

Drag a file up to the notch and the buddy opens wide to catch it. Then choose where it goes.

Drag the file below up to the notch, or let it fly there.

  • Send it to a session. The file goes to a running Claude Code session, queued until that session is idle.
  • Ask about it. PDFs, images, code and text: ask your buddy a question about what you dropped, through your own API key.
  • Email it. Luna drafts it in Mail. Nothing is sent until you click Send yourself.

Focus

A timer where your eyes already are.

A Pomodoro lives in the notch: a ring, the time left and the sessions to go. No app to open, no tab to lose, nothing to remember to check.

Up top: the focus ring in the right ear, then the Focus view.

  • The buddy holds its tongue. No messages and no trips onto the desktop while you focus. They wait until you're done.
  • Only focus counts. Breaks never pad the numbers. The week's chart and the streak show focused time alone.
  • Knows your calendar. It warns you when a meeting starts before the session would end.
  • From Claude Code. Type /luna focus in a session to start the timer without leaving the terminal.

And the rest

A lot fits in a notch.

Your other tools, in the same glance

Failing checks, review requests, deployments, payments, your next meeting. Each speaks through Home's Up next, only when it has something to say, and only reads from the accounts you connect.

Window snapping

Drag a window to the notch and nine drop zones appear. Nineteen layouts have shortcuts. Direct download only.

Chat with Claude

Ask anything from the notch with your own API key. Drag the buddy onto a window to attach it as context.

Usage, charted

Spend, tokens and when you work, read from Claude Code's own transcripts on your Mac.

28 small sounds

A quiet cue for an approval, a finished turn, a file caught. Or silence, with one click.

A Claude Code mod

One click installs it. It talks to Luna over a local socket: no network, no telemetry.

Private by design

Your code is none of our business.

Luna runs on your Mac and answers to you. We operate no server that receives your data, so there is nothing for us to see, sell or leak. Safe to run next to the code your company cares about.

No account

Nothing to sign up for. We never learn who you are.

No telemetry

No analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking. Not in the app, not on this site.

Keys in the Keychain

Your tokens live in the macOS Keychain. Never on disk, never with us.

Only where you point it

Luna talks to the services you connect, straight from your Mac, and to no one else.

Closed beta

Luna is napping until the doors open.

A small group is using Luna every day while we sand the edges. Invites aren't open yet. When they are, this is where you'll hear it first.
